Dig Media has been playing in the fields of art, culture, heritage, video and digital for more than twenty years, in the UK and beyond.
At our core is a team of curious minds who love to craft digital experiences with soul. We live the themes we explore - music, heritage, and the joy of discovery - and we thrive on helping people engage with culture in unexpected and original ways, both online and out in the open air.
Excited by what we can use from the past to inform the future, we love nothing more than collaborating with heritage and education partners to explore new, fresh work. Our own collections speak for themselves and highlight our passion for pushing the boundaries of history and tech - from Jack Henry Moore's archive, to the collections of Toasted Productions and Dig - all capture significant moments in global culture and counter-culture... club nights, gigs, happenings, festivals and early experimental video.
Rooted in video production, over the years we have used new tech to enable explorations into heritage in exciting ways. So today our celebration of culture isn't just about preserving and creating video - we build immersive trails that uncover hidden city histories, build Augmented Reality experiences and work with partners to widen and bring in new audiences, always with an eye to what the future will hold and how we can connect it to the past.
Click through our Services and Collections pages and you will see how diverse and centred we are - with our close links to establishments like University of Salford and University of Westminster, we offer media training to students, allowing them to work on live briefs. For Visit Manchester and Salford City Council we produce work that encourages fun ways of learning about these two wonderful cities for locals and visitors alike, and for museums and libraries we offer services to protect and future-proof their collections.

Not just video
If you've clicked through our site and read some of our pages, you will know that we do a lot more than make videos... as well as animations, motion graphics, digitising, restoration and training, we also curate the incredible Jack Henry Moore archive and work closely with University of Salford, University of Westminster and the Royal Northern College of Music.
We are excited by culture, history and tech, and we love to explore ways of combining all three to tell stories in a relevant and contemporary manner.
