Plastic Ono
Show at École des Beaux-Arts, Paris 1970
Thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund we have been able to save the footage from this amazing show at École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
This show was organised in a small amphitheater space for 300 people. An hour before the announced starting time more than 800 people had gathered. Jack and The Videoheads tore down the installation and moved it to the covered courtyard to accommodate the 2,500 spectators. The tape shows Jack Henry Moore and Dave Jones (today technical director of the Oswego Experimental TV Lab) doing live feedback with John and Yoko’s donated TV set.
