Einstein On The Beach premiere - 1976

Jack had a long friendship and artistic relationship with Philip Glass and had met Bob Wilson socially on several occasions. After hearing that a big Italian film company had arranged to make a 35mm multi camera film of the premiere but then cancelled at the last moment, Jack arranged that they would, as originally planned, make a video documentation of the Avignon Festival premiere. The final document is a 5 hour non stop epic milestone in the history of music, theatre and opera.
